How it works
  • The Claimbot cannot access your funds or tokens — it can only claim rewards on your behalf.
  • Claimed rewards always go to your own wallet — to your PDA if one is active, otherwise to your main wallet. There is no third-party recipient.
  • The Claimbot uses Flare's official ClaimSetupManager — and, for Kraken staking rewards, the ValidatorRewardManager — standard protocol contracts.
  • You can revoke the Claimbot's access at any time by clicking "Disable Claimbot".

Frequently Asked Questions

Flare Network Basics
Flare is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed for decentralized data acquisition. It provides protocols like the FTSO (Flare Time Series Oracle) that deliver reliable price data on-chain. FLR is the native token used for gas, governance, and delegation. Flare enables smart contracts to securely access data from other blockchains and the internet.
FLR is the native token of the Flare Network. It is used to pay gas fees for transactions, participate in governance votes, and can be wrapped into WFLR to delegate vote power to FTSO data providers and earn rewards. FLR trades on major exchanges.
The FTSO is Flare's native decentralized oracle system. It collects price data (e.g. FLR/USD, BTC/USD, ETH/USD) from independent data providers who submit prices every ~90 seconds. The network calculates a weighted median price and distributes rewards from two pools: a primary IQR pool (30%) for submissions inside the interquartile range, and a secondary PCT pool (70%) for submissions within an adaptive bandwidth around the median. Rewards are shared with the provider's delegators.
FTSO data providers like PriceKraken run algorithms that collect prices from exchanges worldwide and submit them to the Flare Network every ~90 seconds. Providers are rewarded for accuracy — the reward pool is split between a primary IQR band (30%) for tight accuracy and a secondary PCT band (70%) for submissions within an adaptive bandwidth around the median. Delegators who lend their vote power to a provider share in these rewards proportionally.
Songbird (SGB) is Flare's canary network — a live testing environment where new features are deployed before reaching the Flare mainnet. It has its own token (SGB) and its own FTSO system. PriceKraken operates on both Songbird and Flare.
PriceKraken charges a delegation fee (a percentage of your FTSO rewards, set on-chain and visible in the Portal). The Claimbot has separate per-claim fees: Tentacle at 0.5 FLR/claim, Kraken at 5 FLR/claim.
Delegation & Wrapping
Delegation means lending your vote power (WFLR) to an FTSO data provider like PriceKraken. The provider uses your vote power to submit price data to the Flare Network. In return, you earn delegation rewards proportional to your vote power. Your WFLR never leaves your wallet — only the voting rights are delegated.
FLR is the native gas token of Flare Network. To delegate and earn FTSO rewards, you need WFLR (Wrapped FLR) — an ERC-20 version of FLR. Wrapping is a 1:1 conversion: 100 FLR = 100 WFLR. You can unwrap at any time. Always keep some FLR unwrapped for gas fees (we recommend at least 5 FLR).
Vote power is the amount of WFLR you have delegated to a provider. It determines your share of the rewards. Vote power is snapshotted at a specific block each reward epoch — this is called the vote power block. You need to have your WFLR wrapped and delegated before this snapshot.
No. Delegation only lends your vote power — your WFLR never leaves your wallet. You can undelegate at any time. There is no slashing on Flare Network. The only cost is opportunity cost if you delegate to an underperforming provider.
Yes. On Flare you can delegate to up to 2 providers from a single address, splitting your vote power by percentage (e.g. 60% PriceKraken + 40% another provider).
You stop earning delegation rewards from that provider immediately (effective from the next vote power snapshot). Your WFLR stays in your wallet — nothing is locked. You can re-delegate at any time.
Each FTSO provider has an optimal delegation cap. When a provider receives more delegation than optimal, they become overdelegated — the reward pool stays the same but is split among more delegators, resulting in a lower reward rate per WFLR. Always check a provider's delegation status before committing.
Go to Portfolio → Main Wallet and click "Delegate Now" or use the guided setup. The process automatically clears your existing delegations and delegates 100% to PriceKraken in one flow.
EOA stands for Externally Owned Account — a regular wallet controlled by a private key (e.g. MetaMask, Ledger). This is your main wallet where your FLR and WFLR live. In contrast to a PDA (smart contract wallet), an EOA is directly controlled by you and can send transactions on the blockchain.
Rewards
Delegation rewards are tied to a vote-power snapshot taken at a random block within each reward epoch (~3.5 days). You can't miss the snapshot of an epoch that hasn't started yet — but a delegation made during a running epoch almost never counts for that same epoch, because its snapshot has typically already passed. Whether you're captured by the next epoch's snapshot is partly luck — it depends where in the epoch the random snapshot block falls. Worst case you wait two full epochs (~7 days) before you first earn, plus another ~3.5 days until that reward becomes claimable. The Reward Eligibility Timeline at the top of the Rewards tab shows exactly which epochs you qualified for and when your first claim opens.
Two types: 1) Delegation Rewards — earned from FTSO vote power delegation, distributed each reward epoch (~3.5 days). 2) Staking Rewards — earned from P-chain validator staking, in two parts: the mirrored share follows that same reward epoch (~3.5 days), the native stake reward is paid every 14 days.
Delegation rewards are available after each reward epoch (~3.5 days / 84 hours). Staking rewards come on two tracks: the mirrored part follows that same reward epoch, the native P-Chain stake reward is paid every 14 days; both need to be claimed. All rewards need to be claimed within 3 months — unclaimed rewards expire.
Your reward depends on: the hit rate of your FTSO provider (how often their prices land within the median), the total delegation to that provider (more delegation = lower individual rate), and the provider's fee percentage. Make sure not to delegate to an overdelegated provider.
The Income Export writes your claim history to a CSV your tax software can read directly — CoinTracking or Koinly, selected with the pill above the download button, with labels, dates and transaction IDs pre-filled per format. One file per calendar year. It covers PK-specific income — delegation and staking rewards, FlareDrop, PK Loyalty — plus your C↔P atomic transfers. DEX trades, exchange transfers and other wallets are not included; those come from your own records.
It's the per-epoch overview at the top of the Rewards tab. Each card represents one reward epoch and shows what the epoch's vote-power snapshot captured for your wallet — WFLR delegated to PriceKraken (delegation rewards) and PFLR staked on PriceKraken nodes (staking rewards, paid every epoch as well) — and whether that qualifies you: qualified (green), snapshot pending (gold dashed), currently running (gold solid), or not qualified (grey). Below the timeline you see the date when your first claimable reward becomes available. Fastest way to answer "why no rewards yet?".
Staking (P-Chain)
Flare has two separate reward mechanisms. FTSO delegation (C-chain) lends your vote power as WFLR to a data provider like PriceKraken — you never move the tokens, and you earn a share of the price-oracle rewards. P-chain staking is validator staking: you lock native FLR on the Platform chain and delegate it to a block-producing validator, earning consensus rewards. Both can run in parallel with the same wallet and the two reward streams stack.
Staking as a delegator (to an existing validator) requires a minimum of 50,000 FLR. The minimum lock-up period is 14 days, the maximum is 365 days. Your delegation cannot end later than the validator's own staking end date, so in practice you pick a validator whose stake runs long enough to cover your chosen duration. Running your own validator requires 1,000,000 FLR and is out of scope for this guide.
Staking happens on the P-Chain, but your FLR lives on the C-Chain, so it has to be moved across: an export burns FLR on the C-Chain into a cross-chain UTXO, an import credits it on the P-Chain as pFLR. Two signatures.

You can do this in the PriceKraken Portal: Portfolio → Transfers → Cross-chain, pick the FLR → pFLR direction, enter an amount and confirm. If the second leg ever fails, a recovery banner appears and finishes the import for you — your FLR is never lost in between. Keep roughly 2 FLR on the C-Chain for gas.

The official Flare Portal and Bifrost Wallet can do the same if you prefer. Ledger works in all three.
Once your FLR is on the P-Chain as pFLR, you can stake in the PriceKraken Portal without going anywhere else:
  1. Go to Portfolio → Staking. On the first visit you sign once to bind your P-Chain address — this only publishes the C↔P mapping on-chain, no funds move.
  2. Under PriceKraken Validators, pick a node and press Stake to this node. The validator is chosen at that moment — there is no separate selection step later.
  3. Enter the amount (≥ 50,000 FLR) and the duration (≥ 14 days). Your stake cannot end later than the validator's own term, so the end date is capped for you.
  4. Sign once. The stake is locked until the end date — there is no early withdrawal.
Staking with a PriceKraken validator stacks with delegating your FTSO vote power to the PriceKraken data provider: one wallet, two reward streams, same team.

The Flare Portal and Bifrost Wallet can stake too — the stake is identical on-chain. Whichever you use, check uptime, the delegation fee and the remaining free capacity before you commit.
P-chain staking returns depend on network participation, the validator's fee and how long you lock. Rather than quote a headline number, the portal shows the rate measured from actual on-chain rewards — check Portfolio before you commit.

Staking rewards arrive on two tracks: the mirrored part follows the FTSO reward epoch and becomes claimable about every 3.5 days, while the native P-chain stake reward is paid every 14 days. Neither is tied to your unlock date, and the Claimbot can collect both for you. Your staked principal is separate: it is released on the P-chain when the lock-up ends and has to be brought back to the C-chain yourself — see the next question.

Staking rewards are independent of FTSO delegation rewards — both streams run in parallel.
When the lock-up ends, your stake is released on the P-Chain — it does not travel back to the C-Chain on its own. Bringing it home is the same two-step transfer as the way in, only reversed: export from the P-Chain, import on the C-Chain, with a small cross-chain fee (usually < 1 FLR combined). You can do it in the PriceKraken Portal under Portfolio → Transfers → Cross-chain, direction pFLR → FLR. The same applies to unstaked pFLR you moved across but never staked.
Yes — and it's the recommended setup. The two mechanisms use completely separate balances: WFLR on C-chain for FTSO delegation, native FLR on P-chain for validator staking. You can run both on the same EOA and collect both reward streams independently. Staked FLR on the P-chain does not contribute to your FTSO vote power, so only C-chain holdings influence your PriceKraken delegation.
A data provider submits price feeds to the FTSO system on C-chain and is rewarded in WFLR from the inflation pool; delegators lend vote power and share those rewards. A validator runs a P-chain consensus node and is rewarded for producing blocks; stakers lock native FLR with a validator and share those rewards. On Flare the two roles are tightly coupled: every FTSO data provider is required to also run a P-chain validator with a self-bond of at least 1,000,000 FLR (3,000,000 FLR or more is considered healthy and is what serious operators run). In other words, every legitimate FTSO provider is also a validator — PriceKraken is no exception. That's why staking to a PriceKraken validator and delegating FTSO vote power to the PriceKraken data provider go to the same team, the same infrastructure, and the same reward stack.
The Rich List aggregates per C-Chain address: for EOAs it sums native FLR + WFLR + sFLR + P-Chain stake (mirrored on C-Chain via the PChainStakeMirror contract); for PDAs it's native FLR + WFLR only — smart contracts can't stake on the P-Chain or hold sFLR. Your full Flare holdings are therefore reflected regardless of which chain a balance sits on.
Personal Delegation Account (PDA)
A PDA (Personal Delegation Account) is a smart contract wallet created by the Flare Network's ClaimSetupManager. It holds your delegated WFLR separately from your main wallet, shielding you from the most common phishing attacks and accidental transfers. Your EOA private key still controls the PDA via the ClaimSetupManager — so this is not a defence against a stolen key. The protection is against bad signatures: funds can only leave the PDA by first being withdrawn to your main wallet, so a scam dApp that tricks you into signing a direct WFLR transfer or a malicious ERC-20 approve simply can't reach the PDA balance.
A PDA is optional but recommended. It adds a layer of protection for your delegated WFLR. You do not need one to delegate — your main wallet delegates on its own. If you do activate a PDA, remember it holds its own vote power and needs its own delegation to PriceKraken.
All WFLR in your PDA is automatically transferred back to your main wallet. The PDA contract is deactivated (but not deleted — you can re-enable it later). Your delegation is removed since the WFLR moves.
In the PriceKraken Portal, go to Portfolio → Transfers. Select the Wallet → PDA direction, enter the amount, and confirm. Your wallet may show a warning about sending to a contract address — this is normal and safe for PDAs.
Go to Portfolio → Transfers, flip the direction to PDA → Wallet, and transfer. This uses the ClaimSetupManager.withdraw() function which transfers WFLR directly — it is not an unwrap, your WFLR stays as WFLR.
Claimbot
The Claimbot is an automated service that claims your FTSO delegation and (on Kraken) staking rewards for you — no manual action needed. You authorize it as a Claim Executor via the Flare ClaimSetupManager (for delegation claims); on the Kraken tier it is additionally registered on the ValidatorRewardManager, which is required for staking claims. It can only claim rewards and cannot access your funds. You can set it up and manage it in the PriceKraken Portal.
Two tiers: Tentacle (0.5 FLR/claim) claims PriceKraken delegation rewards only, with standard gas and regular queue. Kraken (5 FLR/claim) claims all delegation rewards (every provider) and staking rewards, with priority queue and boosted gas. Claims always go to your own wallet: Flare's autoclaim delivers to your PDA when one is active and to your main wallet otherwise. Both tiers delegate your PDA 100% to PriceKraken during activation — existing PDA delegations are replaced. See full details in the Portal.
Yes. The Claimbot uses the official Flare ClaimSetupManager and ValidatorRewardManager contracts — both standard protocol features. Claimed rewards always go to your own wallet: to your PDA if one is active, otherwise to your main wallet. There is no third-party recipient, and activation clears any recipient address left over from an earlier setup. The Claimbot cannot move, delegate or spend your tokens, and you can revoke its access at any time from the Portal.
Always to your own wallet. There is no way to route claims to a third-party address — the Claimbot does not offer one, and activation clears any recipient address left over from an earlier setup.

Which of your own addresses receives the rewards is decided by Flare's autoclaim, not by us: if a PDA (Personal Delegation Account) is active, rewards land there as WFLR, where they count toward vote power at the next snapshot. Without an active PDA they go to your main wallet. Activation enables the PDA, so in practice that is where they arrive.

This also settles the exchange question: rewards are never sent straight to an exchange deposit address. Claim to your own wallet first, then deposit yourself — which is the only path exchanges under the FATF Travel Rule / EU TFR can attribute to you anyway.
No. The Claimbot only delegates your PDA, never your main wallet. Your EOA delegation stays exactly as you set it — you can delegate to any providers you like. After activation, a hint appears if your EOA is not yet delegating to PriceKraken, but this is optional and entirely your choice.
Yes. Claimbot fees are set on-chain and may be adjusted at any time. The current fee is always displayed in the Portal before you authorize or use the service. Since we do not collect contact information, we cannot notify you individually — please check the Portal periodically. If you disagree with a fee change, you can deactivate the Claimbot at any time — we charge nothing for that, only the network fee for the transaction applies.
Go to Rewards → Claimbot and click "Disable Claimbot". This opens a guided process: first removes claim recipients, then revokes the executor authorization. The Claimbot is immediately deactivated after the transactions confirm.
Security & General
Yes. The PriceKraken Portal is a non-custodial interface. We never have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or funds. All transactions require your explicit approval in your wallet (MetaMask, Bifrost, Ledger, etc.). The Portal only reads blockchain data and sends transactions that you sign.
The Portal supports MetaMask, Bifrost Wallet, Rabby, and any EVM-compatible browser wallet. You can also connect via WalletConnect (QR code for mobile wallets) or Ledger USB (direct WebHID connection). On mobile, use your wallet's built-in browser for the best experience.
Use the PriceKraken Portal to delegate, manage your PDA, claim rewards, and set up the Claimbot — all in one place. Alternatively, you can delegate via Flare's official portal.flare.network.
